Aries dropping to Hardy was what started my sadness regarding TNA
Same... I started watching TNA in 2012 when I was only watching WWE every week and after seeing Aries vs Joe at Slammiversay, I saw them both as top stars and Aries especially stood out as the highflying badass while Joe was just gonna kill everyone. After Aries won the title, he should've been pushed as the #1 guy vs Aces and Eights, with Sting, Magnus and Joe behind him.

As for JB, that's pretty badass but the cameraman fucked up the shot of him hitting EC3... Spud in that last video left after like 3 seconds... hilarious :p

Aries should be the #1 guy in TNA or at least one of the top 2 or 3.

I've often said that if he were 6'2, 240, instead of 5'9, 210, he would be an upper midcard/main event guy in WWE right now.

I personally hated EY turning. He won the title, was screwed over and then joined the exact same crew that took and screwed him out of being champion. Low Ki and Samoa Joe are also the people who were fighting against him. This makes no sense but I guess I'll have to wait for the coming weeks to see why exactly this happened.

All of 'em who turned heel, they'll be like 'You don't deserve to know the answer.' and that'll be pretty much it. lol

Interesting.. did it do enough to keep you watching on the new channel though?

As for "Would I watch this show live?", no. If I have to choose between NXT, Lucha Underground, and Impact, then TNA is a distant third.
But really, it's on Watchwrestling no matter what :D, and my whole attitude will remain "Meh, if I feel like it".

I can't really explain it. On paper, this show had lots of interesting, newsworthy stuff on it. The ECIII segment was awesome, Awesome Kong returned, Aries won the X-Title, and the Wolves are so freakin' incredible that they were able to carry Abyss to a good match. There's plenty of other newsworthy stuff that may have entertained y'all as well. :)

Can't put my finger on why, but everything just seems to be falling flat on Impact for this viewer. If anyone can explain, please feel free.

You may have a high standard for it, due to the awesomeness of NXT and LUG, I suppose. You're not the only one, though.

Hahahahaha, saying it's not as good as those two shows is hardly an insult, is it? :haha:

Just feel like I should be liking this Impact more than I do with such good stuff on it, and that's not even all. If I watched Raw every week like you, surely the show-opening brawl would have been more appealing after so many g**damn Authority promos. Maybe some of you were intrigued by the finish or liked the Roode/Lashley match, too. Ahh well.

Just to be positive: PRAISE JOSH MATTHEWS!!!

Insult? Nah. I'll just take NXT and LUG over RAW/SD/iMPACT any day of the week. Not saying they're shite (Well, SD is dogshit, for that matter) or anything, they just can't come close to being as awesome as NXT/LUG. I loved TNA in 2K14, though.

Yeah, I liked the openning segment to iMPACT, but not because I'm tired of The Authority's promos, I love The Authority. I just preferred it that way, a brawl over some stupid little promo like 'Welcome to the new home of TNA, the new beginning of TNA on Destination America.'

As far as Roode/Lashley match goes... It was a good one and I definitely liked it. And I was rather surprised by what happened in the end than 'liked' how the match ended.

With the UK tour, they should totally figure out who the main faces/heels are. Roode, Aries and Magnus should be the #3 faces, with the Beat Down Clan and Revolution being the two main heels and Lashley being in-between, fighting MVP but also refusing to help the faces straight up, opting to just offer title matches. And go for quite unique ways of starting Impact, whether that be brawls, big matches or debuts to set the tone for the episode.

I checked it out and it wasn't bad, but it didn't hook me by any means. I probably won't watch regularly

It definitely just felt like a very standard TNA show.
