How about Cruiserweights?

WWE needs to shake things up, so why not bring back the cruiserweight division?

Bryan Danielson would be a huge name that would actually be useful in WWE if they had him compete in the CW division and win it at some point and then dominate from there.

This will give people like Gregory Helms and Evan Bourne the opportunity to be involved in some storylines that has titles in written in them.

Would be great if they do that. I for one would love it to happen. But lets face it they dont give a fuck about the tag,IC,or the US title so bringing back another title wont do any good. Well be new and fresh for a few weeks then they will not bother about it like the rest of the titles. Hell to be real the top 2 titles get dropped by the champ like every month nearly, Slight exaggeration but you get what i mean

As much as I'm sure the matches would definitely be worth watching the WWE has proved time and time again they really don't give a shit about the Cruiserweight division. They can barely generate enough feuds for the IC and US title divisions, never mind adding another one on top of that.
Besides, who would be in it? Bourne, Yoshi, Chavo, Primo and Jimmy Wang Yang? I hope you don't think Rey would be seen anywhere near that shit. Hell, they'd probably even drop Punk down to that level and he'd be stuck there forever.

It would just be another device WWE would use to keep the smaller guys down and away from the actual titles that matter. There's no reason that needs to happen when guys like Bourne are more than deserving of a push up the card and some more recognition.

WWE don't give a damn about the CW division. You want to know how much they cared about the title, Hornswaggle , fucking Hornswaggle was the last CW champ, you'll just see that again. DX as tag champs and Hornswaggle as the CW champ, nice marketing scheme there.

I wouldnt mind seeing the cw title back. Think it's an easy way to give some of the current mid cards something to do. But I dont see it happening anytime soon.

The cruiserweight division become pointless when cruiserweights starting competing for, and winning, heavyweight titles.

It has become acceptable for smaller guys to hold major titles in the WWE.

Plus there are too many titles as it is. There is barely enough talent to fill out the midcard title scene.

This. It makes no sense to have a Cruiserweight Division yet have so many superstars who should be in said divison competing for the world championships (Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio, CM Punk etc.)

He's 185 lbs. Tell me how he isn't that small when they had the old limit set at 220 lbs? Guys like Chavo are bigger than him, yet they're regarded as cruiserweights.

Have you ever seen a properly intense Cruiserweight Feud? Towards the end it just became a complete and utter joke. One of the most enjoyable title belts to watch people fight over was last held by Hornswoggle. If they bring back the Cruiserweight Title, they're not going to let Danielson flourish.
