Tonight Homicide returned to ROH during it's GLory by Honor 9 PPV. At the end of the show the lights went out and Homicides music played, as he walked down to the ring to challenge the new champ. The place was going nuts.

Other Notes from the PPV: The WGTT made their ROH debut at Glory by Honor 9 with an impressive outting against the Kings of Wrestling. They showed no signs of ring rust, as the crowd treated them as icons. The Kings of wrestling defeated the WGTT after Chris Hero used a loaded elbow pad, however the WGTT would have the last laugh and whip the KOW manager Shane Hagadorn. After the match, the WGTT held the tag belts, which hinted that they would return to ROH in the future for a rematch.

- Davey Richards is not retiring at the end of the year, and was given a title shot at Final Battle 2010.

- Roderick Strong captured the ROH World Title.

- Kevin Steen unmasked El Generico, however a towel was quickly used to cover his face.

Good for Roddy. Glad Homicide is back and I know he wont get the belt right off the bat because returning guys never get the belt back instantly. I want some more Homicide-Colt Cabanna and I want Roddy to work a feud with Austin Aires and maybe one that leads to a reformation of Generation Next.

- Ring of Honor has announced that Homicide will be in action on Friday night October 15th in Dayton, OH and will compete on Saturday night October 16th when ROH returns to Chicago Ridge, IL.

I can't see Homicide getting the title anytime soon. It's Roddy's time now, and Davey Richards shortly after. Homicide will instantly add some depth to the upper mid card, and some exciting fueds. His run in 2006 in ROH was epic. I'd have to imagine we will at least see Homicide vs Strong, and Steen in 2010.

It might have helped that the current champ (at that time) is leaving for WWE lol.

True, but I didn't expect Strong to ever gain the ROH title. I always thought he had the ability to do it and carry it, but never though I would see it happen, regardless if Black was leaving or not. I enjoyed his runs as FIP champ, which is what convinced me he could hold the ROH title.
