Pretty sure that's the reason. What better way to get money then to force a country to celebrate holidays where if you don't give us money, then your kids will feel left out and sad.

Exactly! Most holidays origins have nothing to do with with how they are celebrated today.

all the religious ones, cept christmas because it's commercialized

Christmas actual is mixed with pagan rituals and coca-cola money investing. They invented the whole "Santa Claus" thing based on St. Nick.

Me too.. I have always loved giving people gifts.
Last Christmas I bought one of my best friend's whole family presents, father, mother, brother, sister, cousin and uncle, lol. I just really love giving a lot, I don't even care if I get anything back. I've bought my boyfriend way more presents than he's given me, ahaha.

I am the same way! My first long term relationship I had was with my ex and I bought him new shoes after being with him for a month. Then got him like $350 worth of snowboarding gear for no reason! lmao He ended up taking advantage of me though... DAMN MY KINDNESS! If I was rich, I would probably live in a little house with basic things because I would be too busy buying everyone else stuff. lol

Went through the exact same thing. My ex was a huge asshole and I spent so much cash on him because I was too nice and took advantage. I bought him like $300 Skullcandy headphones or something along the lines. Barely even remember.

Nope, godzilla invented it

:hmm:

Its all starting to make sense now! The big GREEN tree that is hard and prickly being adorn with lights and city waste (they call them ornaments) represents him! OMGOSH! That is why they want us to feel so small as kids on Christmas! And the boxes and bags of presents are buildings!

 WE HAVE ALL BEEN IN GODZILLA TRAINING!

Its a good think to be a giving person but its a bad thing when you get into relationships with greedy people.

Lol, of course. It's just hard knowing who really are the greedy people or not. Of course, every person who's interested in you are super nice and sweet at first. I'm quick to trust and just assume they're a really awesome person from the start.

I am the same way. I was with that dude for almost 3 years! He changes after only 6 months! I was such a moron. lol He lied, took advantage of my wallet, cheated on me, ekkk... The guy I married, however... He is the complete opposite. He actually doesn't want gifts from anyone! He wants to work hard and get things he wants with his own money. I still buy him things though. lol
