How is main eventing for the title midcarding..?

And CenaMark, it would be the exact opposite, Austin would have more control in TNA than WWE. Hence where his decline with WWE started in the first place...

If Austin went anywhere right now it would be under his terms. WWE would be able to offer more money and a bigger stage. The choice is easy.

also, its more like;

midcarding wwe > main eventing tna

The more and more I think of Hogan joining TNA the more he's seems like a huge asshole. Vince McMahon and the WWE made his ass three times.

1. The Original Hulkamania Run.
2. The 2002 Hogan Run.
3. Appearances & Plugging his new projects, even his daughter for a while.

Reading Hogan 'wants to start a new Monday Night War against WWE' kinda made me sick. I hope Hogan falls flat on his face in TNA, they fire his ass and get back to what was beginning to work ie: pushing the young future.

Sorry to break it to you...but the young future is coming from the WWE and not TNA.

The impression I get is that internally, TNA thinks its time is running out and they are going to pull out all stops. They are panicking by bringing in Hogan and supposedly giving him some control. Its the wrong move and its going to backfire bigtime.

Hogan will benefit from TNA more than the opposite imo.
He will have rare appearances (if not none) and this will just make people get to lose all the passion in even going to watch iMPACT and thus; ratings will drop again.
TNA doesnt have the star power nor the Arenas to make them look big. If they bring any old star from the attitude era or before; well they are "old" and they cant manage to keep up with the speed of the youngsters in-ring and this will make the old stars look awful and they will lose their star power influence or impact on the fans and this will also lead to drops in ratings.

Back to ground zero TNA. IMO, they should just be like ROH and never look above. They will never be bigger and thats my opinion.

No, but midcarding WWE > midcarding TNA.

How's the WWE midcard been going lately? All around the forum I've seen complaints about the WWEs midcard and how they aren't doin shit with them, yet TNA has had midcarders rising, look at Matt Morgan, Hernandez, Daniels and probably others, theyve all been going up through the ranks, the WWE have had CM Punk who rose up last year and thats about it, their midcard isn't going anywhere.

Yeah, but the point is his terms would be met by TNA since he could do whatever the fuck he wanted, where he couldn't in WWE and openly resented the creative decisions.

And I agree to that to SOME extent. If you're in Morrison's position right now, it trumps most of TNA's main event, yeah.

Let's look at them. Morgan and Hernandez, who are supposedly getting a push of a lifetime...both lost at Bound for Glory and then lost to Team 3D and Rhyno once again, and dont seem to be anywhere close to the top of the card anymore.

And the same with Daniels, he has lost in the like the last 3 PPVs and hasn't been on an actual feud for quite some time.

As for the midcard in WWE, is more among the ranks of people not wanting the midcarders to be midcarders anymore and be main eventing, not exactly their actual use as midcarders

How quickly Jeff Hardy has been forgotten by some (First world title held late-Dec '08)...

Gotta figure JoMo would have been main eventing now too if it wasn't for Mysterio's... cough, cough, ahem... 'punishment'. (Still gobsmacked by that... The guy gets busted for drugs yet allowed to pontificate as to whom & how he drops the IC title and upon return is given title shots at back-to-back PPVs....? It's nothing more than a 'holiday' followed by a 'promotion', FFS!

If Hogan wants big names he should tell oVeRrateD to stay at home. He'll never get Stone Cold. He should bring in Macho for commentary purposes only. We all know Randy's like 60 now and can't wrestle anymore.

^^^You think Hogan somehow equates age with wrestling ability?

"oVeRrateD" - Would be marvelous IF the guy's name was Vob Ran Dam.

Austin wouldn't go to TNA for two reasons: 1. He hates Hogan. He flat out refused to work the guy @ WM 18 to keep Hogan from scoring the pay day of his lifetime since Hogan has screwed so many out of money making programs. The idea has come up a few times since then and Austin has quickly nixed them.

2. Austin said if he were to get in the ring again it would have to be the perfect circumstance on the grandest stage for the fattest payday (10 mil is what he said) and TNA couldn't give him any of that as it is nothing more than a toilet in the wrestling landscape that Hogan is taking a shit in at the moment. Warrior and Savage being inducted into the WWE HoF by Vince personally is more likely to happen that this.

All that being said, what the fuck does Hogan mean by "big names". TNA has taken in any and everyone with a once "big" name and it's brought them jack shit but some punk bragging rights by sometimes beating the WWE's afterthought C show that showcases huge names such as Goldust and William Regal. The only two people with truly relevant "big" names (Rocky and Austin) aren't going to wrestle anytime soon, let alone for the "cheap knock off unknown promotion" that Hogan is using to keep his alimony payments from completely draining his bank account. RVD is no bigger a star than anyone who has walked that TNA aisle, plus he'd much rather sit at home, smoke pot, run his comic shop and get that 25,000 bux for a Royal Rumble appearance. Umaga, Kennedy and the other latest batch of WWE castoffs didn't do jack in E and would repeat that in TNA and Jeff Hardy might end up in prison, who the fuck else is there for TNA to sign? Here's a thought: try a better creative approach to your product and market actual wrestling since that's what they claim they do instead of signing WWE refuse in look of a quick fix that hasn't worked the five years they've been tryin it

The fact that Hogan clearly seems intrested in repeating the history that yes granted started WCW Rise to fame but ultimately killed it, should be throwing up all kinds of red flags for guys like AJ, Joe & Daniels as well as any other TNA star who still has a full career ahead of them.

Whats funny is listening to the LAW last night they were talking about this very thing. That how long into Hogan's official start in January before we see guys like the Nasty Boys, Beefcake and all of Hogan's old buddies come marching in and basically hogging the show? And surely Dixie Carter has seen this history with Eric & Hogan, how could she see this being any better for them?

As for the names mentioned.....

Austin? Not likely. Austin may have had his issues with McMahon (there ongoing love/hate relationship) but based on the WWE allowing him to become the star no one else (WCW & Eric Bischoff) never let him be, I'd say that Austin like Jericho would look at it as betraying the people that made him.

Nasty Boys. Assuming they are healthy enough to move, as someone else said it won't take much convincing.

Rob Van Dam. Some said possible, I don't agree. If this was prior to Bound for Glory, sure, possible, but if you saw the interviews from RVD after his visit at BFG, his attitude about going to TNA seemed to be sort of soured. Though RVD is friends with Hogan, I doubt it.

Macho Man Randy Savage. Also not likely. Although Savage I'm sure would be game to go, he would only want to go if he was to be granted a real match with Hogan. He hates Hogan, and has wants to fight him for real. Hogan doesn't. So not happening.

When will TNA(i.e. Dixie Carter and Hulk Hogan) realize that they Key to a successfull TNA is in AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels, Matt Morgan, Hernandez , Eric Young, etc.

Not Kurt Angle, Scott Steiner, Booker T, or even Hulk Hogan

Let WWE/ECW/WCW Alumni be WWE/ECW/WCW alumni and with the exception of some Alumni, keep them away from TNA. All above mentioned and more have done nothing to jumpstart TNA into feasible possible future competition for WWE. WWE thinks TNA no mre than some Indy promotion and throwing washed up old wrestlers in there isnt helping the cause IMO
