- The New York Daily News has published comments that Hulk Hogan made to a fan at a recent book signing regarding his vision for TNA Wrestling. Hogan said that he hopes to bring in Steve Austin, Randy Savage, Rob Van Dam, and the Nasty Boys tag team to TNA. He also wants to start a new Monday Night War against WWE.

“I wish to talk to Rob Van Dam, who is considering returning to the ring, and convince him to join TNA,” Hogan said. “Plus I’m also wishing to contact ex-Nasty Boy Brian Knobbs, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Macho Man Randy Savage.”

The newspaper reports that Hogan is pushing for TNA programming on Monday nights, which was one rumored around the time it was announced Hogan and Eric Bischoff are partnering with TNA.

Hogan says he “considered for months” guest-hosting Monday’s Raw from Madison Square Garden before he “sealed the deal” with TNA.

Now, if Stone Cold showed up in TNA, I think Vince would kill himself.

First off, I doubt Stone Cold would consider TNA at all, at all, and secondly, if Hulk Hogan is the one contacting him, I see Hogan getting the complete opposite effect on Austin

Makes you wonder if Hogan and Bischoff tried to contact Austin by FedEx.

Oh and Brian Knobbs = Ratings

"He sat his fat ass on my couch on Hogan Knows Best and baby sat my kids brother...he's new world order of TNA!"

I read this earlier today...and LMFAOx100000000000000 at Hogan thinking he can get SCSA to come to TNA.

If he got Austin to join TNA I'd fucking cry. For some reason, he just seems like he'd fit TNA perfectly =/. He'd have all the creative control he wants. Hogan should bribe him to lose for his ass if he comes. I think I said this a little while ago too.

The be honest... Austin in TNA right now would be >>>>>>> than Austin in WWE. He'd be drinking Diet Pepsi and giving people the thumbs down.
But...does WWE own the SCSA name?

Steve Austin is his real name now.. so it wouldn't matter. Stone Cold, they probably do.

Somehow I doubt Knobbs would need much convincing to come to TNA... but Lord knows, nobody wants to see that.

Steve Austin has now moved away from wrestling and seems only focused on his film career, he's got plenty of projects in the future film-wise and does Hogan seriously think Austin will drop all those plans to go to TNA? Hell no.

Rob Van Dam sounds semi-likely, I've read he's interested in getting back in the ring. So who knows there.

LMAO!!!

Stone Cold signing with TNA does sound like it'd be cool, but come on. That guys said over and over he only has maybe one more match left in him. Pay all this money to sign him when he can't do much?

When was the last time Savage was in the ring? How out of shape is he?

This Knobs guy I hear is one of Hogan's good friends so it's clear he's not bringing him in as far as name recognition, but just to get his friend back in the ring.

Having name recognition is good, but it does more harm than good when the person(s) you're bringing in can't do shit or is completely shit.

Other than RVD, I don't think anybody would care for the guys Hogan would want to bring in. Savage is a nut job, The Nasty Boys are atrocious, and Austin would never go to TNA. They'd be better off doing a guest host/appearance thing with celebrities rather than old, insane wrestlers.
