We have been reporting that Hulk Hogan has been teasing an appearance at Wrestlemania 25 for quite sometime now, and in his latest attempt to stir the rumor pot Hogan has posted the following on his Twitter account:

"Yo Maniacs, What are your favorite letters? Currently mine are C & J. Or... Maybe J & C?"

The letters could of course be the possible combinations of John Cena and Chris Jericho, who have been wrestler names that have come up in recent Hogan/Wrestlemania rumors.

Rofl, what a pull out of the ass.

That has to be the most idiotic, made up out of nothing report I have ever seen.

Viral marketing. I dont know who is advising Hogan, but they are smart.

Hogan is pretty much a marketing genius who knows how to keep the spotlight on him.

Also....

Dave Meltzer is reporting that WWE hall of famer Hulk Hogan did undergo back surgery last week. The surgery is considered to be necessary to return to wrestling, and was not a career ending type procedure.

The thought was that if Hogan and Vince McMahon had a deal prior to Wrestlemania, he would have postponed the surgery until after the event. Hogan is laid up at this point, and still awaiting word about a possible second season of Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling.

If that's actually his "twitter" he's obviously just fucking around, because he knows some people will believe he's coming back.
Trust em, if he was coming back, he would've been on Raw by now.

I call bullshit. But then again its Hogan Isn't it, So i wouldn't necessarily rule out a Mania appearance or even a match were he is concerned you can never say never with Hogan.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Hogan is at Wrestlemania in some angle with Jericho. There is clearly going to be some legends vs Jericho angle that's being built up to.
I can see it now, Hogan destroys Jericho in the opening segment at Mania. Then he is a surprise entrant in MITB. He wins obviously, using the same 3 moves and then cashes it in later TWICE capturing both world titles. Then the next night on Raw he gives a heart warming farewell speech to the Hulkamaniacs and vacates both titles.

That would be the BEST WrestleMania EVER if that happened.

But in all seriousness - I would love to see Hogan come out and talk the talk to Jericho but not wrestle. Maybe Hogan comes out this week and Jericho kicks him in his knee and Hogan gets hurt too and everybody is like "WTF??" - who is Jericho gonna face now and then - Dwayne Jo.... nah - I can't seriously call him that name - THE ROCK returns to save the PEOPLE from Jericho??? Jericho is always "these hypocrits" "these people who know nothing" - so the People's Champ, a legend and icon returns to save the day? He's a movie star too so he can say he's Rourke's homey and play that card as well.

It's called cheap advertising. :glare:

And what pathetic speculation? C&J for Cena and Jericho? wtf? It could mean tons of things. Although I don't mind Hogan appearing at WrestleMania in some legendary segments, I don't want to see him wrestle at the event because he just doesn't have the wrestling capability now.

Hogan is a douche. Take 'Twitter' Get rid of the 'ter' and then change the 'i' to an 'a'. What you get is a good old British term for what Mr Bollea has become, unfortunately.

And the only reason that Hogan is throwing around his name is to get mainstream media exposure.

If Hogan were to face Jericho I really don't think they'd need any more than a week or two to set up the match.
Wasn't the last time we saw him when Orton RKO'ed him on the hood of the car? lol

I'd like to see Hogan do something at Mania this year, prefer a match though. Need some excitement for the 25th anniversary for Wrestlemania....and HBK/'Taker isn't enough.

Well the way Jericho has been attacking all these legends it wouldn't suprise me if one of the biggest legends returned to face him, I may not like Hogan but he does bring alot of hype and he does have a uge name throughout the wrestling industry so he could face Jericho since there isn't really anyone else that can.

Him Vs Cena would draw but I am afraid the match would never end because either the writers wouldn't know which superman should win or neither men would want to lose to the other :shifty:

He should just appear, not wrestle.

J&C?

Jesus Christ?

wrestlezone said:
Hulk Hogan is reportedly pushing Vince to go over Jesus in their WrestleMania Showdown. Hogan is citing the time Vince put himself and his son over God and Shawn Michaels at Backlash 2006. The workers backstage feel that Christ hasn't paid his dues yet, although they feel that Hogan is politicking a little too much, so most workers are split on who should win this match.
