To be fair consider the source. Not saying it isn't true, but is it not possibly that Hogan made it up just to massage his own ego? Its the sort of thing pro wrestlers do all the time and 25 years does sound a bit far fetched.

That show had Vince McMahon on camera, giving Hogan this deal himself. What is there to dispute?

As deezy said Vince appeared on the show and said it was a 25 year deal. Remember it was mainly a merchandise deal not a deal to ensure that Hogan is still wrestling for WWE in 25 years. 25 years was a good length deal for both sides since Hogan gets guaranteed income and WWE get the power to continue to promote the brand for the next couple of decades.
