WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan was interviewed this week by The Southtown Star and spoke about a number of topics, including his family, advice for aspiring wrestlers and the upcoming Hulk Hogan Fan Appreciation Day. Some of the Hulkster's most interesting comments came when the subject of WWE vs. TNA came up.

"I watch both products. (TNA's) like the little engine that could. Everybody thought they wouldn't be around for long, and they've been chugging along for seven years. They gain momentum every week. They seem to be real fresh. When a lot of guys go over to that side of the fence, they seem to get a spring in their step," Hogan said. He added that he also watched the WWE product saying, " Vince is the constant. He's the standard of excellence. I just love watching his show because you never know what he is going to do. Plus, the production -- you can't even touch his production. It's so dialed-in. It's amazing just to see how they put the pieces together."

"If you look at history, everyone says, 'History repeats itself.' With all of the choices in the universe of entertainment, I look at the big package and look at the big picture from 40,000 feet. I see history repeating itself. I see TNA getting strong. I see Vince McMahon being impeccable except for a few little holes in the boat."

Hogan continued, "TNA is lacking that one momentum-shifting move, that one big name that would even the playing field, the brand (that is) just as powerful as the WWE brand. (TNA's) lacking the big piece of the puzzle. It wouldn't matter who did what in the past. It will be a totally even playing field. You never know."

We all know if Hogan signed with TNA he'd be World Champion in 6 months so I'd love him to stay away from that company. As for WWE, he's probably just kissing Vince's ass to get a special phone call...

He's just realised he didn't kiss ass enough to score that spot @ WM25.... Not leaving it to chance this year, Brutha! : P

I think if Hogan called Dixie Carter or Vince, they will jump on him in a minute. Hogan is the biggest wrestling name ever and still has many fans and would definately put people in the arena on his name value alone. I wouldn't be shocked to see Hogan being one of the RAW hosts sometimes on like some special 3 hour broadcast.

Dixie maybe. Vince has blocked Hulk Hogan from his product many times due to him asking way too much money or wanting an unreal angle (him and Cena for the BELT at Mania)

^ No more like 20 minutes. 15 minute promo and posing. 5 minute match against Kurt Angle :shifty:

the 3 moves of wisdom wont take 5 minutes tbh.
I do agree on 20 minutes pre-match time.
then 1 minute match time
then another 20 minutes post-match time celebration.
then 3 minutes party promo backstage
After the show, 10 seconds of Hogan giving advices to wrestlers. and 50 minutes of Hogan during the press media!

So Hogan simply didn't WANT to be part of the what could/should have been the biggest wrestling event of all time?

[Excuse me for a moment...]

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!!

[That's better.]
