I finally decided to give Kanye's "My Beautiful and Dark Twisted Fantasy" a chance despite the fact Kanye has been dissapointing me recently. The production on this album is A-FUCKING-MAZING but lyrically - it falls short in my opinion. I understand Kanye was a "dark place" during the time period this was recorded but I'm not just feeling it.

I also am in the minority who didn't enjoy "Watch The Throne".

If anyone here listens to Curren$y here I would like to recommend this. He's produced a lot of good tracks, but this might be one his greater tracks.

REPEAT. Common might of got the best of him in that diss track, but I still love the music he produces.

Look What You've Done is easily the best track off that album and probably his best track he's made period.

As for that diss though Common did pretty damn good. People wouldn't clown Drake so much if it wasn't for the fact that he is a soft guy who at times tries to act like he's hard every now and then.

IMO Drake's best diss was on Good Riddance when he was dissin Aristo but that was ARISTO. He's not on Common's level as we all know Common isn't new to this so I couldn't see Drake honestly seeing himself having a chance it's out of his battle ability.

Common was able to do toe to toe with Ice Cube and westside connection and Cube is one of the kings of dissing so yeah wasn't gonna work out for Drake.

Common was not better than Ice Cube, The Bitch in You was like listening to a bullied kid trying to fight back, it came off as phony to everybody not from Chicago during the 90s and only had one good verse imo.

I'm more of a Cube fan than Common fan but I thought for somebody who never did a diss track and who it was against he did really damn good. Wasn't really any winner or loser in that though.

I remember when Common Sense was the shit, now he lost his sense and is making R & B shit. Cube still does his thing, but it's sad to think that all the best rappers are over 30. Used to be young mans game. Now there are over a million wannabe rappers who say the same shit over and over.

What rnb stuff? He's still making the same stuff he always has. The singles he's been in lately Sweet and Ghetto dreams are pure hip hop tracks.

He's still doing tracks sounding like a love sick puppy imo, I try to listen to his tracks, but it doesn't sound like the shit I got into in the 90s. Just what I hear, and I didn't like what I heard, ya heard?
