His agent has said he wants to leave and admires United and Sir Alex Ferguson, and he's refused to sign a contract extension. United have been in for him for ages now, but I don't see how he fits in. He can only arrive if Rooney leaves but SAF said Rooney isn't leaving next year and I can't see Rooney leaving tbh.

Back is fine now. People mistakenly think the defenders are the reason to blame, but they're not. Rafael is RB of the season imo, Evans is one of the CB's of the season, Ferdinand has been immense and Vidic is one of the best in the world. Evra is weak as fuck defending but attacking he is gold. Our system in the early parts of the season consisted of Carrick and Scholes, and they don't have the legs to defend. Our wingers weren't tracking back, and we had no energy or stability in midfield. We were so top-heavy in terms of attacking. Sir Alex has completely fixed that now it seems, but I'd rather a nice energetic box-to-box midfielder like Modric to come in, and maybe a new left back.
