I had a friend who was studying Japanese go to Japan for a year of study. While he spoke Japanese he told me that in Tokyo a lot of the people speak english.

I'm absolutely serious. Top rated=overfuckingrated. The same could be said about to USA universities (I'd save MIT). The only good thing left are the few excellent professors, like Nobel prizes
Another note, Oxford, Cambridge and so on, are rated as the top by the Anglo-Saxon world, go to China, and China's colleges are the top. You get what I mean?
As for Japan, the University of Tokyo for example.
Anyways, feel free, I have nothing to earn by bashing Uk colleges, actually I'll try to get there too in due time, not for the quality, but for the title; it's just my opinion, and yea, I did a plenty of research too.

Wales has Cardiff Uni, Uwick Uni, Glamorgan Uni, Aberyswyth Uni, Swansea Uni. All on the same level of pile of shit. I was primary and comprehensively taught in Wales though, and I consider myself to be far smarter than around everyone on this forum apart from about 10. So yeah. It's not too bad. But I wouldn't suggest taking a Uni course here.

Also, yeah, UK has very over rated Universities in general. But still great none the less.

Depends on what you're going to study in university.

For engineering, UK isn't the best. There are a lot of American universities that dominate. But for other stuff like medical or say, art and design, which I'm interested in, UK has some of the best universities and colleges of the world.

America does have CalArts, SCAD and such but they're extremely expensive. My second choice would be Canada. But they decline visas. Lol.
