I'm doing marvellous whilst sitting in a sweatbox at college supposedly writing a personal statement. Supposedly.

Almost da weekend and a lecturer strike on Monday means a 4 day weekend as I'm off on Tuesdays. Hell to the YES!

You got Cisco PacketTracer? I'm doing a Cisco course* at the moment and can download it from their site. It's basically a pretty good network simulator where you can add server stacks, routers and PCs and stuff and configure them. Pretty much like an isolated environment to mess around with networking. I can link you with a download if you want it.

* The course I'm currently on is "Cisco IT Essentials", had to do it as part of my apprenticeship. You can actually read all of the written material for the course without being on the course/having a Cisco account, because they host it all on the Amazon Cloud. I never wrote a ripper to give myself a local copy, or used regex on the local copy to cheat during exams I promise, I'd never do anything like that.

Nope I don't. Yeah sure, PM a link if you don't mind, cheers.

Lmao they really have it open like that.. Slightly ironic that there's so little security for a network co.

I'm sure you didn't, who said such slanderous lies!

Golly, I put this thread up so folks could talk about how they're doing, not to lambast each other :-(

I've been doing fine. Finally got to change my name :yay:. I've been watching American Dad and listening to Fall Out Boy. Just the usual.

Question: Are you really 58? Just wondering

Yes, I'm **actually** 58; born Sept. 20th, 1955, which makes me a 'Baby Boomer'(those born between 1946-1965) The first time I voted for President was in '72. Worked for the Federal government for 31 years, retired on December 3rd, 2010.. Soooo, now I have time to visit and write in these forums<w.> I don't consider myself an Republican nor Democrat(registered Independant) nor either a Liberal or Conservative. I just want to live, and make sure that when the time comes, and if I 'go' before her, the Mrs.(whom was an CNA for 31 years before retiring)can be comfortable. I sometimes find it hard to believe the 'things' I have lived through and seen, or how technology has advanced during these years. I have no idea regarding the 'medium' age of most folks in here, but i am a bit envious of what wonders you will see 30-40 years from now, and be able to enjoy them, while I'm sitting in some 'home.'
