The latest issue of the Pro Wrestling Torch is reporting that last month's TNA pay-per-view, Slammiversary, was only ordered by 7,000 people. While the number has not been confirmed, the Torch is reporting that there are reports floating around saying Slammiversary drew that particular number.

If the report is indeed true, the low-end fraction of TNA's viewership that purchased last month's pay-per-view would be 1 in 214 Impact viewers as the show typically draws over 1.5 million viewers on a weekly basis

Booker should have won the main event. Then the new flavor would taste like chocolate.

7000?

...

Seriously? Even with it being TNA, that number still surprises me. Although it brings a few lulz as well.

That's just sad. What's with the thread title though? I figured it had nothing to do with Slammiversary, or PPV buys. But, as I said, that's far beyond patheric. 7000? 70000 would be embarrasing, but this is disgraceful, especially for the bgiggest PPV.

A Booker T interview not so long ago in which he said that TNA was a growing company and everybody was lining up to taste the new flavor in town (TNA)

LOL - we can probably get more posts in this thread than they had buys. We should go for it.

In nearly every rumour thread someone questions how much truth there is to the story, so why hasn't anyone in this thread? Why should I believe this story when TNA never releases this kind of information because they don't have to like the WWE does? I'm not saying for sure that it is 100% false, I just think we should keep in mind how many of these wrestling rumours end up being complete bullshit.

Buy rates are a matter of public record since WWE and now TNA are publically owned companies. But of course you TNA apologists will do anything to make your PRECIOUS look good...

Nobody questions anything when it comes to ratings or buyrates. Just because this is a low number, doesn't mean it should be questioned. Also, this isn't presented as a rumour.

Technically MikeRaw is it presented as a rumor. Just had to point that out.
