In his role as WWE's ambassador/advance pitch man, Hulk Hogan was in Australia this week to promote the company's August dates on the continent, August 6 - 8 in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Hulk being Hulk, of course, he couldn't help promoting himself a bit, too.

After teasing standing up to Rusev, the Real American addressed his favorite topic...when he'll wrestle again.

Hogan says that Vince McMahon told him that if he can pass a physical, he can get back in the ring. It's a smart way for both men to handle what could be a thorny situation - when it doesn't happen, they can point to the doctors.

He remains convinced that there's no way WWE can run AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas for WrestleMania next year without him. Despite the jokes that we make here, having Hulk Hogan on the bill would generate some publicity and excitement for the show, and I'm sure they'll find a way to have him involved - just as they did with his surprise run-in in support of Sting against Triple H and D-X this year.

But when Hogan says that he told Vince he plans on wrestling, and McMahon shakes his hand and says "I'm looking forward to it", you have to imagine that one or both of them isn't as confident about it as the Hulkster makes it sound when talking to the Aussie press.

I've said all along this is more likely to happen than not. Hogan, Vince and WWE as a whole are all pathetic enough to force it down your throats.

I don't mind him being there because Hulk Hogan will forever be synonymous with Wrestlemania and since they're planning on making Wrestlemania 32 into the biggest Wrestlemania in history, I don't see why arguably the biggest WWE superstar of all-time can't make an appearance in some capacity or another. Plus, next year's show is aiming to shatter the supposed 93,000+ attendance record that Hogan helped set at Wrestlemania 3, so him making an appearance in front of the new (enormous) record crowd of 100,000 seems fitting.

But him wrestling again? Nah. He couldn't even get medical clearance just to work a tag team match with John Cena at last year's Mania, I'm not sure why he thinks he's magically gonna get cleared to wrestle 1-on-1 two years later.

Never underestimate the kind of odds that the power of Hulkamania can overcome... brother.
