So last night, my brother fucked up the computer and fucking sweeped the whole thing clean. So I'm going to ask it plain and simple. Is there any way to get my stuff back? Because I had over 60GB of stuff from there, and I have to start from scratch with everything. I use Vista, just to clear things up.

do you have a seperate external harddrive? Can you do a system restore (go to Start, Accessories, System Tools, and then System Restore... it should allow you to go back to an earlier saved date, and could possibly bring your shit back... but im not 100% positive. It saved my computer from a MASSIVE ASS VIRUS!!! And you never know, you could get all your gigs back dude

Btw, I feel for you man, this had happened to me before, only you have more stuff lost... it really really sucks

System Restore didn't work, the recovery thing was like when I turned on the comp right now. I guess I'll leave it be and start all over again unless anyone has an alternative solution.

If System Restore didn't work there is nothing that I can think of that you can really do to bring everything back. I would suggest once you get most of what you had back on their create a restore point. Some computers don't automatically create restore points so if something happens to you computer and you need to restore it you won't have a restore point there to do so.

So get everything back on your computer that you can and them create your own restore point. I would suggest buying an external hard drive so that way you have all your info saved and won't have to worry about the internal hard drive getting knocked out.

And lastly don't let your brother touch it again.

I'm assuming he reformatted it, if that is true, yeah most of it's all gone from that harddrive.
