Former WCW and WWE star Shane Helms officially announced his return to the ring set for 2/4 in Manilla (Philippines) via his official Facebook page today. The event, presented by the World Wrestling Fan Xperience, will feature John Morrison (his first post-WWE match), Shelton Benjamin, MVP, Chris Masters, Carlito, Gene Snitsky, Luke Gallows, Rhino, Jillian Hall, Melina, Shawn Daivari, Jimmy Yang and Billy Gunn.

Helms has remained out of action in wrestling since his serious motorcycle accident back in May 2011. He had taken part in the now defunct Lucha Libre USA for MTV2 prior to his accident.

I knew Gallows would be there because he told me he'd be there.

Didn't expect all the big stars in Manila, lucky Phillipines getting a hell of a show here. Didn't Helms return to the ring at RusselReunion 2? He was sloppy as hell and has put on weight, I used to be a huge fan of him but now he's just lost himself.

Glad Shelton & MVP are there, most likely teaming up after NJPW.

This looks like a great event, I'd buy it.

I want to see this event somehow, all common names around the WWE so it should be a good watch.

I wasn't aware Lucha Libre USA was defunct. Not surprised but now I know. Anyhoo, good to know that Helms will be making his in-ring return, recently I've been curious as to how his recovery was going and now I have my answer. What a stacked event to do it at too.

So that show actually has other stars on it? Good job for them hyping it with Morrison talking for 30 seconds and making it sound like most boring EXPERIENCE of your life.

I'm suprised I thought MVP was NWJP champ and still contracted to them but still this is a good card from what I can see wrestling wise with the exception of Hurricane and Morrison unless of course you like spot monkey botchers

MVP was the NJPW Intercontinental Champion for a while but dropped it a while back. Obviously his contract isn't exclusive.
