Hello wrestling fans! We're Neo Spirit Pro Wrestling, or NEO Pro Wrestling for short. We're based in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, having been around in various iterations since 2001.
Founded by the late Jesse Scott in May 2001 (known in the ring as JT Playa or Tiberious King), Jesse wanted to bring the best wrestling to the Niagara area by making his own blend of WWE, WCW, and ECW.
NEO operated from 2001-2005, before temporarily going on hiatus. During this time, the very first NEO Grand Independent Champion (GIC) was "Showtime" Eric Young. Following champions included "Dangerboy" Derek Wylde, The (Original) Hacker, Crazzy Steve, and Cody Steele (who you now know as TNA's Cody Deaner!)
Other names you may recognize include WWE star Shawn Spears, Angelina Love (then Angel Williams), and even Beth Phoenix had a brief stint here in the falls, working as the bell ringer.
NEO resumed operations from 2010-2013. Our old family returned, but we added many new faces. You may be familiar with Rhino, Kevin Nash, Tyson Dux, The Blade (then Pepper Parks), The Bunny (then Cherry Bomb), Rosemary (Courtney Rush), RJ City, Josh Alexander, and Ethan Page. After 2013, Jesse felt the need to focus on his family, and became a father to 3 young boys.
After attending an indy event many years later in 2022, he felt the old flame begin to burn, and NEO rose from the ashes in May 2023, once again running in Niagara Falls, where we still make our home today. Our old friends again returned to their home, with special apperances by Shawn Spears, Heath Slater, Cody Deaner, Crazzy Steve, Eric Young, and Cassie Lee.
Jesse tragically passed away in May 2024 after a year-long battle with cancer. With his friends taking the reigns, NEO put on the first annual Jesse Scott Memorial Show in October 2024, where WWE, AEW, and TNA talents appeared in order to raise funds for his wife and 3 boys. Special appearances included WWE's Shawn Spears, TNA's Cody Deaner, Crazzy Steve, and Rosemary, and AEW's The Blade, & The Bunny. (We graciously thank these promotions for letting talent return home one more time)
