EDIT: Shit, the title should say "Face" instead of heel.
I've been thinking about this a bit lately... Now, I know not everything in wrestling is supposed to make sense, cause thats impossible, but really, is it even possible to do a face turn that makes sense anymore?
For a while, in past decades, it just seemed like face turns were possible, because the heels that turned face werent usually the same type of heels as the Ortons of today (like brutal viscious psychos)... But nowadays, it seems like if one of the top heels were to turn face, it would seem stupid. maybe its just my view of wrestling changing... But anyways, a face turning heel is ok.. I mean, that can be written good, you can have the face just all of a sudden get fed up, or try new methods to get a title, or whatever, and overall, just turn into a bad guy and cheat and stuff to get hated...
But I cant see any major heels turning face anymore... Kennedy doesnt count, cause he was sort of always liked anyways... But it wouldnt make sense for a heel like Orton, who has done so much shit, got so much heat, backs away from so many fights, etc, just like Edge or MVP, to turn face. because it'd be hard to repackage their characters into guys who are "fighting champions" and "good guys" and "stick up for the fans, etc...
So basically, its easy for a face to turn heel, but IMO, it seems like its getting harder to turn heels into faces, because heels nowadays are built to be such bad guys...
So, is it just me, or does anyone else agree that it seems like certain heels in the company now, will never be able to succesfully turn face because of the way they are being built up as heels now?
