Flairs biggest mistake was not calling it quits for real after the Shawn Michael's match. I couldn't take him serious after that.

In an update on Alex Shelley to WWE, the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer is reporting Shelley has received phone calls from WWE. Shelley has not agreed a deal with the company as of yet. Prior to WWE calling Shelley, he was looking at working in Japan and possibly for Dragon Gate USA.

More on Flair/TNA Parting Ways, Flair Goes Off Script
According to a source within TNA, a major issue which lead to tension between Ric Flair and TNA, and could potentially be one reason why Flair left the company, was the handling of the Gut Check segment on Impact featuring Alex Silva.

WZ has learned that Flair went off the script when he chose Silva as the winner, which is now causing issues for TNA as not only did Flair go into business for himself, but Silva is from Quebec, requiring TNA to spend more time and money getting him a U.S. Visa if they want to use him with any amount of regularity.

Don't know if it has been posted yet but there's some more info. WOOOOOOO! Flair trolled TNA.

Good move by TNA to get rid of Flair, yes he is a legend but he isn't worth it to TNA. He is too much trouble and costs too much money considering TNA rarely use the guy. Should save them a decent amount of money each year. Flair will be fine, WWE will give him the deal they offered him after his match with HBK, he will be paid good money to promote the company and to appear as a talking head on DVD's and possibly the new network as well.

As for Shelley it is surprising that he is gone, good one him for wanting to move up the ladder and since TNA aren't using him he may as well try his luck elsewhere. Will be huge if he gets into WWE, I wonder if Chris Sabin will decide to follow him to WWE? Good luck to Shelley to see if he can actually make it onto the main roster if WWE do actually sign him.
