Just rewatched the contract signing segment to get pumped for Impact, LIVE AT 8 PM BROTHER :hogan:
For the OP: Hernandez was clearly distraught at Chavo wanting to sign the contract. He sure as hell wasn't happy to agree to it, but Chavo egged him on. Looks like Hernandez is the one who could turn, but hopefully they swerve us and turn Chavo. There's definitely heat between the two.
Anyway, I've always thought Chavo and Hernandez were good performers getting completely outclassed by great performers, but it seems every time they're in a back-and-forth segment they get exposed more and more. Lets kayfab it and look at the arguments between the two:
Dirty Heels: "We're both former world heavyweight champions. Roode's the longest reigning champ in TNA history and Aries is the only guy who could beat him. We've both gone to the top of the mountain, and we both still belong there. You haven't beaten us in singles matches, you haven't beaten us in tag matches, so why should you think you can beat us this time?"
And guess what? They're right. All this stuff is true, you can go back and look at the records. It's really a testament to them as performers that they're still getting some sort of boos tbh.
But wait, what does Los Burritos have to say? Here's the direct quote: "What color is the sky in your world, don't you know I'm a Guerrero baby?! And coming along with a Guerrero we have Hernandez, who's strong as a son of a gun"
