Months ago I was hearing HBO/WB this was being talked about and I was torn on whether I like the idea or not. The Movies are dear to me, and this coming from a person who never read the Books but knows the ins and outs of the Movies. A TV Series you could dive deeper into the Story but I rather see a Harry, Ron, and Hermione Movie seeing how their generation is dealing with the World after the last film and the possibility of a another big evil coming up to take them out. You could legit add new Casts members putting over a new three kids or the main three kids being heroes the possibilities are endless. House of the Dragons was a major success for HBO so I have faith in them but they are going to really need to hit a Home Run with this out of the Gate to keep everyone happy.

I could get behind a cool new Military Series. Make one about a kick ass Army Vet, who deployed several times, and now he trolls people on random wrestling forums, and makes the same stale jokes repeatedly! I'd watch that!

I think last Year the Reunion Special and the Game that came out recently got people talking and really wanting more in this World which is why they are so wanting to see this happen. The Fantastic Films I thought were pretty good but the fandom as a whole was split in the middle with those films as well. Either go with Harry and the Gang or make a Series of new kids in that same timeline and you can then build them up to later bring in the older Cast.

Or they could do the Marauders, exploring the story of Harry’s parents. The fandom has been wanting that for years at this point, it’s literally one of the only times people have wanted a prequel over a sequel and it could work. Familiar but still different.

John Lithgow 'set' to be new Dumbledore in Harry Potter TV show

The Oscar-nominated star is reportedly "in final talks" to sign up to play the Hogwarts headmaster.

What scares me is his age Harris was in his 70s, Gambon was 62 when he took on the role and John is nearly 80 and seemly you think this Potter Series will go on matching the number of Books. Mark Rylance was rumored for the same role and he's still dealing with the passing of his Wife so he passed on the role.

Heard so many names passed around . One was Adam Driver as Snape. Was like why Just cause they've got big noses then it dawned they look pretty similar but surely it should be for acting talent rather than look, no?

Shouldn't even be doing a fricking reboot on TV the movies are ace. Just same old Hollyweird churning out BS for a profit well I hope it sucks as I want a Fantastic Beasts 4 movie as we've been lead to believe Dumbledore v Grindelwald deul was the greatest in Potter Folklore and all we got was 2mins of them basically knowing they still love each other which made me tear ngl. But for Dumbledore to beat him without the elderwand showed he was the the true master of the elderwand or his wand was a twin of it, so it it equalled it for power. Look at Potter Seven for instance harry beat Voldemort with a normal wand as he disarmed Draco as malfoy manner. So I'm just going off that. Guess we'll never know as it's been canned so I look on YouTube for some fanmade ones and there's not any . Some good fanfilms like Sister of the House of Black or Origins of a Heir which went on to become a channel, due the popularity of the mimi movie.

At one time He was the master of death he had all of the Deathly Hallows The Cloak of invisibility (granted he borrowed of Harry's dad) The Resurrection stone and The Elderwand. In the FB3 movie it was shown he was pure of heart when the Chillen bowed to him and there for he didn't use them to be corrupted as he nearly was so in his youth.

Why he's my favourite character in potter , man's some great wizard for sure.
