-- One wrestler definitely not changing brands is Shawn Michaels. Michaels regularly attends Wednesday morning church services back home. Michaels doesn't like working Tuesday night shows, which is why he isn't moving to SmackDown, and probably never will.

-- Rey Mysterio is still a few weeks away from returning to the ring. He should be back on the road in early to mid-July.

-- WWE signed independent wrestler Brian Cage, 24, to a developmental contract following a tryout during last week's swing of California. However, this signing has a little controversy to it. WWE had six guys at the tryout and he just happened to have the best physique of any of them. And of course, he was the one that got signed. Some people were grumbling about the message it sent, especially considering that Cage got knocked out in his dark match before officials with Jimmy Wang Yang after taking a simple high crossbody maneuver

--------

I'm sure Shawn would have been drafted this year if he didn't need to go to church, he would have made a great addition to Smackdown! Its okay though, we all know how religious he is and I don't have a problem with it at all. I actually find it amazing how the guy was able to turn his entire life around, he went from being an asshole drug attict to one of the more religious guys in the business, and probably the nicest too.

yeah his transition to being a huge Christian is an unbelievable story. he could still be drafted to ECW since they are being taped with Raw soon. he would make a great addition to the roster and he is the most likely of MEs to be drafted there cause he likes to put young stars over.

No offense but that's a bitch excuse not to go over. That's like a basketball player sayin 'Oh I don't want to play on our Wednesday games, only Mondays.'

^ How exactly is it a bitch excuse? Shawn Michaels is very religious and obviously his religion is more important than his job, and it should be. Obviously he'd rather work on days that don't interfere with church.

well, does that mean a possible, Cena, Jeff, JBL, Jericho, Kennedy to smackdown seeing as Edge/Batista is stale and Rey is a mid card level with MVP until they get pushed I see one of them getting drafted before Smackdown ends up worse than ECW.

See this is what annoys me about WWE, but I'm really not surprised. One look at their roster shows you that they're interested in size moreso than ability.

And then they just fire them when they're caught taking steroids.

Yeah they fire the ones they catch... it's proabably quite easy to dodge the tests if you know. I'm just saying WWE is all about looks, compare how the guys look to how they did ten years ago. They care more about their appearence of their wrestlers, and womens wrestlers for that matter. Why else has the womans division become a slutfest?

I mean the whole world is so concerned about the important of look generally, but WWE really go along with it.

You know Michaels is religous, and that is fine, so if he wants to go to Church whatever. I just find it odd that he can't go on a different day should he move shows.

And as far as the new devolopmental wrestler goes, I'm not sure this is really news. I mean, WWE obviously does things like this all of the time.

Why not go to church on Sundays like the rest of the christian world?

Wow that sure narrows down the big names in the draft. Evolution V2 seems to be out the window and Batista is in the NOC ME, so he is out. Cena is out, Triple H is champ, Edge is champ, Taker is gone, and now HBK won't do it.

...that only leaves what...Jericho, who probably isn't moving considering what happened Monday and Orton. We might see Orton move but that's not really a plus for SmackDown! since they can't use him right away. But we could finally see Orton vs. Batista.
