What did you guys think of their feud/team during that time period? I feel it's something that goes under the radar. Not many odd match tag team/feuds that has happened were as good as this one in my opinion. Thought the character clash was great and think their 97 KOR match is a underrated match that was fun to watch. The ending was pretty funny an different as well.

I brought this up in a wrestling group I'm part of. It is one of those hidden gems that people don't know about. Or they just forgot because WrestleMania overshadows everything. But that was good. This was the basis for all these tag teams that would consist of two guys that wind up feuding with each other or feud with each other... Cena/Batista, Miz, HBK.

And their King of the Ring match... I watched that last night on the Austin DVD... I had to watch the tag title win first, also on the DVD :D. But the ending was funny. I won't spoil it :p But this one is one of those under the radar sorta feuds.

I agree that this is one of those under the radar feuds that I definitely enjoyed. The KOTR match was damn good as well, better than the 'Mania match, but of course, HBK didn't have a messed up back in the KOTR one.

The WM match doesn't even touch the KOTR match if of you go back and watch the KOTR match you will see that was the last time Austin worked a technical style match.

Their KOTR match was great, that handicapped guy distracted me when I first seen it waaay back in 97. Also, it was supposed to be a Bret/HBK match that I really wanted to watch. And since reading that Bret was thinking of using that match to beat up HBK for reals, makes it even more disappointing that is didn't happen.

I wasn't a fan of HBK during this time. Too fruity for me when I was a kid full of testosterone and was a massive Steve Austin and anti-Amercian Bret Hart fan.

This was a very underrated feud because if you hear Austin-Michaels people think Tyson and if you say both guys and the year 1997 you think Bret. The KOTR match is pretty darn good though.
