After, Onita left FMW Hayabusa carried that company on his back and rightfully so. The man was ahead of his time and wasn't just great at Deathmatches/Hardcore matches, but was a sound wrestler all around. His long feud with Mr. Gannosuke will always be one of my favorites as both where good friends outside of the ring. Think the closest, you could ever get to Hayabusa in a modern era would have been BxB Hulk when he was doing his Killer Hulk/Black Hulk gimmick.

Atsushi Onita vs. Hayabusa - Exploding Barbed Wire Cage Bomb Deathmatch, this was the moment that Hayabusa became the ace of FMW with Onita's blessing.


Hayabusa vs Masato Tanaka FMW-Neo FMW 05/19/98, this is one of my top favorites of his


Hayabusa vs Hisakatsu Oya 08/3195 FMW-Grand Slam, Another good match. It ends in a time limit draw, but man nothing was really wasted.


Hayabusa vs Mr Gannosuke 04/30/98 FMW-Fighting Creation, my favorite match of this feud and my favorite match of his.

Hayabusa was freaking incredible. He had such a great, big move arsenal and was so crisp with all the moves. It really is sad and unfortunate his career was ended early like it was.
