This has to do with me playing soccer but I didn't put it in the sports section because it has to do with other things in life as well.
Yesterday at Soccer practice we broke into teams. We have a Junior Varsity and Varsity team. I'm a Sophmore so I have to play both. My friend and I are starting on the Junior Varsity team with a bunch of shitty players who have no idea how to play so him and myself basically take up the entire thing. For some stupid reason, neither of us are starting on The Varsity team which is pretty ridiculous because there is one kid on the team who is a year younger than us who is starting on both JV and Varsity, when my friend and I are way better than the kid. I think it's because this kid's parents are friends with coach which is pretty ridiculous. I mean even my friend is better than me so I think he should at least take her spot and I am better than a few others on varsity so I should get their spot. Also, while my friend and I have been busting our asses in practice every day this summer, kids come in who were at camp and haven't been in practice, they get to start for varsity... How unfair is that? WHen we are at practice hauling ass everyday in the heat, while some of the starters are away at camp? I have tried my hardest not to complain as I want to keep a good attitude and earn that Varsity starting position. It's going to suck during JV games though when my friend and I are facing an entire soccer team, by ourselves basically.
The point of this thread isn't about soccer but I would like to know if anyone else has been in a sitiuation like this, where they work harder than others but the people they work harder than, takes there spot? It could be in school, at work, on a sports team, or anything for that matter.
