I know a lot of people weren't even sure but when Riddle forgot his lines, I kinda liked that. It suited his character and it wasn't unnatural for him. Also, Ali's injury was the thing that kickstarted KofiMania in 2019. If Ali had wrestled there, I don't Kofi would've gotten his WrestleMania moment.

Barista returning in 2014 as a face was a huge botch but it worked out extremely well in the end.

Bryan not winning the rumble in 2014 was absolutely fantastic with hindsight. Why have Bryan get the big win before Wrestlemania? You also got amazing heel work from Batista

Idk if it counts as a botch but the Curtain Call led to HHH getting the axe for a year and gave Steve Austin his breakout moment at the King of the Ring.
