Whoa, whoa whoa... let's not lump guys like Jericho, Eddie and Benoit in with the X-Division.

Yeah, NOW. I told you, the WCW cruiserweight division had the same perception from 1995-2001, that the current X Division has these days.

I think Jericho and others said always show a bit more potential than most of the X-Division.

^^^Hindsight is 20/20. Of course it's easy to see now that all of those wrestlers had potential. They put on the same style of matches with little storylines or promo time.

I mean I may be a bit biased on the matter, Jericho has been my favorite wrestler since his WCW days.

I had a nice long post, but then I decided; screw it.I'll just say this, if you think the X division is equal to the WCW Crusierweight Division, then either you are extremely biased or you just didn't watch WCW. Not all were allowed to talk, but Jericho was absolutely awesome in WCW and Eddy was sinister as hell and showed he had mad charisma with his lWo tirades. Plus the Malenko-Jericho, Chavo-Eddy, Eddy-Rey, Rey-Malenko and Jericho-Rey feuds were simply classic.

No one understands that all of this revisionist stuff isn't my point. At the time, circa, 1995, the cruiserweights were more of an attraction to warm up the crowd. We saw flashes of greatness from all of the guys now main eventing Wrestlemania but nothing to what they are now. Daniels-Styles-Joe matches are classic and in the same vein as the old cruiserweight matches.

People just enjoy shitting on everything TNA, whether it deserves it or not.

Sometimes I wonder if you really are like ODB. Not the TNA knockout, the useless lowlife in you avatar.

One sentence replies only satiate your little internet ego. The least you could do was try to insert something articulate or insightful in the thread along with your self-serving reply.

Daniels needs a push, plain and simple. At times, it seems like he's being used as an on screen mentor for younger guys. That's not a bad idea but he should be getting in Mr. Anderson's face and starting a feud.

uhh my mistake didn't he just feud with AJ Styles over the world title a little while ago with Joe. Then turned heel and went after AJ again?

^^^Yes and then went back down to the X-Division. That was the impetus behind this thread.

I hate to see how under-used Daniels is nowadays. He was on a roll before Hogan came along. If Kaz wins at Lockdown, I'd love to see a Kaz/Daniels feud, it has the potential to be an amazing feud. I just wish he went back to the Fallen Angel gimmick, with the hooded robe and all, nowadays he just look like a basic create-a-wrestler wearing eye-liner.
