In January, he just finished off his 14 month title reign (aka the 6th longest WWE title reign ever, aka the longest reigning WWE Champion in 25 years). Personally, as much of a fan as I am of CM Punk, I don't think he can ever top that. That's the greatest thing he's probably ever done in his wrestling career. He's also been talking about retiring "sooner than later". He doesn't like to talk about it much because he says it'll probably depress some of us. I see him retiring in about a year.

My question is, has he peaked? Is there more that Punk can do? Sure, he can still entertain a lot of us, but what else does he have to do? Should he just end it now before he gets completely stale (to some people, he already has)?

He's really in the Roddy Piper/Billy Graham/Jesse Ventura class of hitting the game a little late and retiring early. I think we have seen the best of Punk but I don't think he'll retire just yet. He'll probably still be around for a solid 5 years in some capacity with breaks in between. I think the thing with Punk is that he doesn't want to stick around after his peak. He sorta has Kobe syndrome. But like Kobe, I think Punk will continue to produce at a high level and stick around because of it. He still has to feud with Brock at least once and possibly Rocky before he packs it in.

I don't think he entered the game late maybe the WWE but not wrestling. I feel he has a lot to offer to the younger guys and can still deliver a lot of great matches. As has been stated he needs to feud with Brock even tho personally I feel Brock don't belong in the WWE and he needs to feud with the other part-timer and maybe make Dwayne come back full-time for at least 1 yr. Many whom feel he's stale haven't seen anything outside of WWE. He has great mic skills and is only 2nd to the WWE handmade puppet Cena. Whom is the only reason CM Punk even lost the title to begin with so he's handed it. Anyways, CM Punk still has alot to offer and I think there are some people he may feud with that we don't even know about yet. Just some that might be cool to me. HHH,HBK, Kane if he ends Takers Streak. So, yeah he still hasn't peaked to me as he may have been champion but he didn't win most of his PPVs at the time or cleanly. Just my 2 cents if I offend not meant that way just what I think. BTW I am huge fan of his if you can't tell. lol

I'm pretty sure he said he'll retire in 2015. He still has a lot to offer until he hangs it up

He can still main event Wrestlemania, but outside of that, there's not really a lot more to achieve in WWE. I imagine next time his contract is up he won't resign. He seems pretty level-headed so I can't imagine him blowing all his money quickly.
