Lmao! Taking a page from Kennedy's book when he was asked for an autograph. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Up2wSzOVZqU XD
I think that wrestlers should upload a certain standard of attitude outside work, and Orton is not the type of rolemodel you want to show the children. Even if you're a fucking douchebag, you got to respect the fans who let you go home with a 600k per year salary.
This is exactly how people used to get heat back in the day. Randy was taught well. If you're a heel and someone asks you for an autograph and you don't HAVE TO sign it for them, tell em fucking no.
I mean say you're a wrestler at an indy show. You're a heel. You're walking into the arena and some guy and his kid ask you for an autograph. Say you go "sure" and you sign one for the kid. Then later, when you come out, people start booing you. Then the guy whose kid you signed the autograph for says "No don't boo him, he's not so bad. He signed an autograph for my kid." Why would someone boo you if you sign something for their kid or them? If they do boo, it'd be a half hearted thing because they are just going along with the show. That's not real heat. Now granted, in the WWE its a little bit different because I'm sure Vince wants as much good PR as possible. However look at it like this, from now on, when that kid sees Orton, is the kid gonna cheer him? Or is the kid gonna think to himself "Fuck him, I hope Cena beats his fucking ass." THAT is real heat.
