So I just got Ninja Gaiden Sigma on the PS3. I figured I have played the God of War games and I'm pretty good at them plus they're the same genre so I'll be pretty good at NG. That and Ninja Gaiden Sigma is one of the highest rated PS3 exclusives. Well I'm currently on Chapter 1 and I've gotten my ass beat about 10 times now. So it looks like it will be long a long ass time before I get used to this if ever.

Well what games made you throw your controller and constantly use profanity to display your fustration?

For me the following games are on my list.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma- Yep about a million times harder then GOW.

Shinobi- Another Ninja game like Ninja Gaiden but this was on the PS2. In comparison to NG, Shinobi is rated one of the top 10 hardest games of all time. NG is not on the list. I had this game for quite a while and actually managed to get to like chapter 5 or 6. Right now atm I'd say NG is harder but I just started playing it so this might be harder.

Devil May Cry 3- One of the highest rated PS2 games. I figured I have to try this. Yep I got it and never beat the fucking tutorial level. Now the game is somewhere in this world. I sold it a long time ago.

Metal Gear Solid- Not really a particular MGS game in general but it takes a while to get used to the stealth aspect. I'm used to it now so it's not hard but the first time I played it i hated it until I got used to it.

Well that's about all I can remember.

uhhh. I don't know back then I was vg king. I might have had problems with games but I beat em all.

Oh wait that's a lie, old school tom clancy games and the first splintercell actually i had trouble with. Oh shit.

Man games get easier, if you make me think hard I'd have to go back to the arcade games. and say that Turtle acrade game was by far the hardest and the Xmen. Fucking jesus

for me it was the Ninja Gaiden games on X-Box & X-Box 360. (which are basically the sigma games on PS3) Though I never played Ninja Gaiden Black, but I remember NG on X-Box being hard but I still enjoyed it. NG2 on 360 on the other hand was quite hard too, I actually didn't even enjoy it.

Any Resident Evil game I've always had trouble with the targeting system.

Scratch that, just about any First Person Shooter game not named Unreal Tournament. I really, really suck at aiming and no matter how much practice I've tried to get in, I still suck. lol. So yeah, all FPS' are extremely hard for me.

Fire Pro Wrestling is definitely not enjoyable to play. Great to simulate stuff, but overall its insanely hard to get use to the controls, and then by the time you finally get used to them then the game becomes far too systematic and you can win any level of difficulty easily.

I never did beat most regular Nintendo games. Those games that I just couldn't beat for the life of me, like Ninja Turtles, I just never played again.

Super Punchout for the Super NES I never beat either. I remember having a real easy time with every single fight up until Aaron Ryan, the first fight of the World Cup. And I couldn't beat him for the life of me. It was as if the difficulty of the game shot through the roof after Mr. Sandman.

I'm trying to think of something i've played recently. Yeah, World Of Warcraft is incredibly hard. I refuse to believe anyone who says they can get to level 60+ in the course of a weekend. I played that game nonstop for a 3 month stretch and couldn't get anywhere past level 35 because every area before that point was too easy and every area after that point was insanely hard and I couldn't kill anything. So yeah, I call BS to anyone who claims that they can power through the game in 48 hours.

NG Sigma is SOOO hard. Like the first chapter they put you against a guy who's about the baddest SOB anyone's ever met. Without a doubt the hardest game i've ever played. RE5 was pretty hard too though. Musashi was pretty freaking hard as well. But the hardest games tend to be pretty cool for me, except for FPS's like was said, I suck at those.

Jungle Strike on the Sega Genesis was pretty hard too.

Haven't played for over three years but I can tell you i've done it in 4 days. First two days I can get level 40 fo sho. Horde or alliance. As long as you know the area and know where to go (Ie done it before) you level up really fucking fast. My last char was a Tauren Warrior and I remember being in a contensted area (desert+ had goblins races or something..) with all my buffs (Like you're prepared to outfarm the asians trying to make a living off this shit.) 2h axe with Cleave. Getting to level 20 is easy, Barrens is a great place to power level, nice and packed as it's really easy to find groups to do harder quests. When you're not questing you're still doing something significant. It's teh barrens, not contested great for pvp servers.

Going from mid 20's to late 30's and then moving on to Scarlet Monastery and farming the shit out of that. If you don't come out of this one with full blue and a couple of purp, reconsider playing. No one from my guild really helped me that much either. Kids went to school lawl. It's really plausible is all i'm saying. Just throw your life and free time out the window and don't fuck around. It takes you 10 minutes to run across zones. Why the fuck are you not gaining the max xp you can constantly? you know

I always had trouble with the Resident Evil games, the controls were always kind of shitty.
I also get EXTREMELY frustrated with platforming games in general... falling off shit and starting over...lol

While I was beating Assassins Creed II I wanted to snap my controller in half a few times on the missions where you need to follow people in cover.

Has no one played through Demon Soul's? I don't have the time and effort needed to do a solid play through... But the game is rough.

Prototype is currently shitting me.

Prototype is great. I bought that alittle after it came out. It's extremely frustrating fighting the bosses. But the more I died from the bosses, the quicker I beat them. After you beat the game though, It gets boring.

I'm stuck on Infamous now. The Dust Men are trying to break Alden out of jail and they bumbarred the prison. They aren't the problem though, it's the big fire guys that get me. I can take two at a time at the most, but it's like 5 or 6 of them that come after me.
