Because it was a TNA main event, there was a ref bump. With the ref down, Hogan came out with a chair to hit Sting with it. Angle took the chair away from Hogan before he could hit Sting, but then Angle hit Sting with the chair and won the title. Hogan didn't look happy, so it didn't seem like Angle's with Immortal yet. But it's obvious what they were doing. Angle's gonna go kinda-sorta-heel and hold the belt until BFG against Crimson or some other face like that. They put the belt back on Sting just to have Angle take it from him. I don't really see why Anderson needed to have the belt at all in that case, but hey, not like TNA can plan this shit more than a week in advance, right?
