guys need to learn that if you RP consitently and get better, you eventually will get nice matches down the road. You cant just create a character, and say "fuck it, i'll never get a serious match so whats the point"

I can see your logic, but that's in a perfect world with a perfect rper. And it also kinda contradicts your first post. One being that if your a new member, and your on a lesser part of the company to start with, you lose interest quickly and just go to another fed. On the other hand, now if your a new member, and your on a lesser part of the company to start with, you're supposed to take it as a challenge and work your way up to get on the A-Show.

You're both right and wrong at the same time. Because there are SOME members from your first example and there are SOME members from your second example. Not everyone is going to quit because they were in a dark match to start and not everyone is going to be "Awesome! Dark Match! I'm gonna try my best to impress the bosses so that I can be on the A-Show!"

I'd love it if all members were like Member #2, but more often than not you have the unloyal and impatient Member #1. Which is why I'm volunteering for the Dark Match writer position. To try and appease the would-be noshowers instead of goinng to drastic measures and creating a whole new brand just to give people a spot on the card.

Maybe It Can Be A Challege, Not As An B-Show But Maybe As WWECW Like I Said B4 Maybe Give Not Dark Matches But Maybe Small Feuds And Maybe Storylins That Could Advance Maybe An Recap Show Like Velocity Was With Good Wrestling And Highlights

This is in fact, a proven good idea. Which is essentially giving dark matches a name. Have the first 3-4 matches on the card that are normally dark matches be more like a "Hardcore Impact Webisode". That way you don't have to make an entire new brand out of it. Nobody has to be considered apart of a "B-Show" and it's still essentially the same principle of a dark match. Except with one or two paragraph matches with semi significant storylines patched in. You don't need a title to be developed since it's just a Webisode Podcast so to speak for guys who couldn't quite be fit into the main show.

It's slightly more effort than dark matches, since it will need minor commentary with a little more action with maybe a backstage promo in the mix to make it entertaining. But it's less stressful than a second brand and more enjoyable for the members than simple dark matches.

^If you call it HI wbisode, you would have to make a HI brand. Just call it an IWF Webmatch or something

i'd write for HI if it comes back. I was just putting my services on the table. I can also write a paragraph or two for the dark matches to take a load off of Two Scoops if he got the go-ahead to write the dark matches

Whatever happened to the old style of introducing characters? You sign up, get accepted, roleplay to show the staff what you've got and they decide where to put you. Until they find a good spot for you they will put in a vignette on your character or even ask you to type up something concerning your character for the weekly show.

I think the dark matches as they are now are fine for where we are currently. I'm sure a second show will be added if the numbers get too much for one show to handle.

As far as 'A' & 'B' shows are concerned I would assume if the rosters are separated there would be a healthy competition between the two shows but neither one would be a legit 'A' Show. They would both be looked at as equals allowing the roleplayers to decide which show is 'better'

It's basically the same concept as Dark Matches. No change in the booking style would have to be implemented. Just a change in the way Dark Matches are presented before every show.

But I won't jump ahead of myself here. It's ultimate up to Jmay and Adam Freeman what goes down. I obviously still wrote about a 4 page roleplay for my dark match so even if the result is only one line of text I roleplay for the sake of roleplaying because it's fun. Not because I expect titles or feuds out of it. So I'll be cool with whatever is decided.

I like Rod's idea. That's the way it used to be.

Either way, it was only a suggestion. I didn't mean for it to be a real big topic or anything, just throwing some ideas out there lol.

I'll help in any way I can.

Two things that make me not join E-Feds. Sample roleplays that eat up my creative juices before I even have a chance to do a match. And being required for the Administrator to review my account before I can post on the boards.

If I'm signing up to an efed, and this is just me, I expect to be able to register quickly, sign my contract and be accepted quickly, and jump right into a Character Development board to get my feuds started. I don't wait around for the staff to give me stuff. I make my own activity.

yeah, its not good to be a Carlito in an E-Fed. You have to show the admins that your character deserves to be given two shits about

i hear what you guys are saying about having a smaller second show, i also can understand why some of you being put in dark matches may be frustrated. i need to talk to Jmay more in depth about this but when a second is re-introduced im pretty sure there wont be an A or B show. If 2 shows were to happen Jmay would be in charge of one show, I would be incharge of the other, dont know how the roster would work out, if things keep going well and everyone roleplays were bound to attract new people and BOOM Hardcore Impact will return.

The thing that most of you seem to not understand.

If you roleplay you won't be in a dark match forever. A week or two at tops.

All new superstars will start in a dark match. If they don't roleplay than they stay in the dark matches. I put all new superstars in dark matches. Look at who we had sign up this week. Already IWF Veterans the Hayes Brothers signed up, but no I put them in dark matches just like everybody else instead of putting then on the main show taking somebody's place that earned it.

Bringing back Hardcore Impact is something I want to do, but not at the moment. Hardcore Impact was my show and Montana and I made the show what it is today. When it comes back it will be at the right place when the time is right. That will more than likely be after the first ppv which were building too.

I know we had to take a week off to get our selves organized, but now were organized and ready to go. Shows will be up on time, Cards will be posted on time. Roleplayboards will be open on time. There is no excuse for the amount of posters who did not roleplay they had an entire seven days to roleplay instead of the standard five.

Miz Mazta3000 brought up a good point. We shouldn't see any strikes from anybody with a late roleplay thread up and running.

Its okay, the three strikes lets us know who doesn't want to be here or who has given up and quit. There will be taken out which means more room on the show for everybody else.

A second show at the time is not going to happen. We need a bigger roster of loyal roleplayers so we can split the roster in half and have two shows. However, first we need to get through the first PPV and than worry about the second show.

You all have had some valid points and I have listened to them all. Hardcore Impact will return its all a matter of when and where.

Adding another show is putting more work on us. Were building cards working on building a ppv at the time. After the first ppv we will be in the swing of things and Hardcore Impact can be a reality. I know some of you have offered to help and write and we will get to you via pm. But signing up to be a writer isn't going to put you in the staff room right away. We already have enough and its crowded as it it.

No that's not the case Two Scoops.

MS doesn't check his pm's very often and thats the only other way to get ahold of him.

Were still waiting to get you access to the Staff Room. You are a full member of the staff were just waiting on MS to unlock the staff room for you.
