Announcement Greatest Wrestler of the 21st Century

In our first Small Screen Survivor Tournament of the Looch Era, we are looking for
what the Wrestlingsmarks think is the Greatest Wrestler of the last 24 years.

How does this Tournament work? (For those, who don't know already.)
You send me a ranked list of (at most) 20 names you want to nominate for this Tournament.
The first ranked gets 20 points, the second one 19 and so on with the last nomination getting
1 point. If you don't want to send in a list of 20, but less than that, that's also fine. That will
not change anything regarding the distribution of the points.

These points are just for seeding of and deciding on which nominations actually get
into the final Tournament bracket.

How big that bracket will end up depends on how many different names I receive and how
the overall points look, so I won't lay down a hard number, but I'd say 32 or 64 will always be
the minimum.

After you sent in your list of nominations, the only thing for you left to do is to visit the section
and vote in the Match threads.

Who can I nominate for this Tournament?
Eligible is every Wrestler, who had at least one Match between January 1st, 2000 and today.
I will not prevent anyone from putting female Wrestlers on their list, but we will do a female
Wrestler tournament as well at some point next year, so keep that in mind.

"Greatest Wrestler"?
Yea, I know people have different ideas of what makes a Wrestler great. Some might only
consider in-ring work, some weigh in promo abilities or a Wrestler's overall entertainment
factor more to determine who's the "Greatest". All opinions on this topic are valid in my eyes
and we all should keep that in mind, when it comes to discussing (and possible ribbing)
throughout the following weeks while the Tournament is going on.

When it comes to nominating and voting the "Greatest Wrestler", the only thing I want to ask
everyone for is to consider what that Wrestler has done solely since January 1st, 2000,
because that is what this Tournament is about.

He's one of the biggest stars in the history of wrestling. He couldn't do lots of moves after Owen broke his neck. He was a ring technician before that. It was from king of the ring 96 he become the top.guy within a year. He had six years at the top not many can or have done that.

I just think when the assignment is 21st century there's many others that can be celebrated for longer better tenures. Austin is on everyone's mount Rushmore and no one is denying his greatness. The issue here is we are focusing on 2000 n on , n most see Austin as an attitude era star
