Who, in your opinion, is the greatest TNA Champion, including TNA's history with the NWA Heavyweight Championship?

*I am sorry in advance for not including Rhino's "Cup of Coffee" title reign, I had to leave one off since there could only be 10 options. For those who are offended, I apologize.*

I had to go with AJ Styles. The build up for the fight was amazing. The feud before during and after had me hooked and the final match were AJ came out on top was pretty good also. Plus it was one of the few times TNA impressed me.

Samoa Joe. People have been waiting for the guy to win the title for over a year, and when he finally won it, not only did I mark out but it really felt like something special. Maybe the fact that he's my favorite wrestler has something to do with my choice, but still, I really enjoyed Joe's run. I hope he gets the belt back one day

Kurt Angle.

People can talk about how giving him all the belts was a dumb idea, blah blah blah, but Angle has done a lot to put TNA on the map imo. Angle was carrying the company (almost) single handedly, and has put over the only 3 TNA 'originals' this year, AJ (3 or 4 times), Joe and Jarrett.

I also agree Kurt Angle always been a fan. Always great in the ring and on the mike and he has done alot since this time last year.

Samoa Joe's reign could've been more, but I'm going with the Samoan Killing Machine because, quite frankly, he OWNS! I was not a fan of Angle's reigns as TNA Champion, and Sting's reigns were all cut terribly short. Abyss' reign was forgettable, and I don't like Christian. Everybody else, I wasn't watching TNA when they were Champions, so I have no clue, although I do think Monty Brown should've been Champ while he was still with the company. Definitely underrated, IMO.

I voted Jeff Jarrett simply because he pulled all of the weight for the first 4-5 years of TNA, winning the belt multiple times. Sure Kurt Angle is great, but he hasn't been in TNA long enough to actually be considered a great TNA Champion. Plus, the majority of his TNA run is title-less right now.

Why is Sting up there then?

And Christian wins this running away. Not even close really.

Most of you are way off here...without AJ Styles, Christian and Kurt would have never been TNA Champ as they wouldn't have been in TNA. And without AJ once again nobody would ever care about Jarrett's reigns. Joe can't carry a company like AJ did 2002-2005 Not to mention he's pretty easily the best in the ring with Kurt and Joe being the only ones even close. :D

Well Sting got up there before Rhino because he won it more times than Rhino. Rhino's run was pathetic, more pathetic than Sting's numerous title runs.

Joe can't carry a company like AJ did 2002-2005

I voted Kurt Angle. Jeff Jarrett was a very very close second though.

I voted Angle because he carried the company more so on national cable TV and gave the TNA Championship a credible champion. (Sorry but Sting's were to short and no one knew who Aj was. And people thought Jeff was champion because he owned the company)

Angle had TNA on his back and he was one of the more entertaining champions TNA has seen. I know Jarrett was a terrific heel and a good champion but Angle gives name status and real life accolades to the TNA Championship.

Solid arguement.

Im still pick Jeff Jarrett though. Like others said, he carried TNA for all those years without the stars, and they were still getting the ratings similar without all the big name wrestlers. When Jarrett lost the belt, it was kinda of a big deal. So i thought he carried it well, and deserved his spot.

Yea, everyone was anxious to see when he would actually lose the belt. It really captivated the fans, but too bad his title loss wasn't on TV it was in freakin Canada with AMW screwing Raven or something
