Also in the news in 2020 Joe Biden defeated Donal Trump to become the President of the United States of America and Prince Harry stepped away from royal duties.

Also in 2020 George Floyd died under the knee of a white police officer leading to worldwide protests and Qassem Soleimani was assassinated.

Amongst the well known people who passed away in 2020 were Kobe Bryant, Little Richard, Kenny Rogers, Kirk Douglas, Sean Connery & Diego Maradona

In music Taylor Swift released the documentary Miss Americana & Pearl Jam released their first studio album in nearly 7 years

In sport Liverpool won their first league title in 30 years as Kansas City Chiefs won the SuperBowl & The Olympics was postponed for a year

Amongst the biggest films of the year were Dolittle, Mulan and Bad Boys For Life.

In wrestling Drew McIntyre won his first WWE Championship & AEW continued to thrive in its first full year.

I'm a big Togo fan and honestly the Harada match still took me a bit by surprise. I actually probably liked it more than any Togo match I watched for the 2010 list.

Cody/Lee was pretty good but I thought the Kingston match with Rhodes was more explosive and exciting and really the perfect way to debut Eddie (outside of the no real audience, huge shame). I really didn't like that HIAC at all tbh. I thought they had a good match in November though.

Ishikawa and Ikeda getting to have multiple matches OUTSIDE OF JAPAN in the year 2020 is just something that almost should not have been allowed to happen (or, been allowed to happen the previous 2.5 decades) and I couldn't be happier about it. I almost, almost liked that Ospreay/Sabre match at first but they wound up losing me by the end of it.

I was pleasantly surprised by Reigns vs. Owens. Never disliked Steen/Owens but also never been a huge huge fan of him either, and this felt like the first time watching him that he could be Face of the Company. I liked the Uso run in even, dude got stomped.

The parking lot war is amazing. I have almost no time for anything Chuck Taylor so imagine my shock when his parking lot match wound up maybe even better than fucking Fit Finlay vs. Steven Regal or fucking Eddie Guerrero vs. John Cena. Some genuinely brutal shit in the match, especially involving actual cars. One of the best ECW-ish matches I think that's probably ever happened.

I couldn't finish that Okada/Shingo lmao
