Van Halen-Maybe the biggest band of the 80's

Fleetwood Mac number one group album of all-time Rumors.

ZZ Top--Underrated, great guitars

Lynyrd Skynyrd--"Freebird" and "Sweet Home Alabama" two classic songs and other popular songs shoud get them in 16. Even though they are more of an American only group probably.

The Eagles--They're Southern Rock but probably the best band from the United States ever

AC/DC-Everybody has rocked to them

Genesis--Not my favorite but they was big for ever. "In the Air Tonight" is a classic

Creedance Clearweater Revival--More of an American band also but held their own against the Brits

Black Sabbath--Ozzy at his best

Heart--The best female rock band

Bee Gees--Numerous hits were the driving force in the Disco Era

Pearl Jam--If Nirvana is nominated so should Pearl Jam

Bon Jovi--The only hair band to survive the era. They have stayed big while the others faded away.
