Wow this is insanely hard. I was so high on Adam Cole for awhile when he was young and I never fell off or anything I just felt everyone caught up to my fandom and I was never really a crazy Finn or Devitt guy but I think I have to give it to him here. Crazy close tho, if Cole didn't get hurt and had that AEW title run he was gonna get over Joe that may have been enough to change my mind

yeah people tend to either have rose tinted glasses for nostalgia or forget history altogether it's a weird thing but it happens.

It does not help he has been booked like a goober for a long ass time but I think part of that is Finn himself

Dude is definitely corny as fuck especially with his heel promos in NXT

Oh boy... this is one, besides Rollins/Lethal, I've been dreading the most to vote for in this first round. I mean can it be really any closer between two talents like these? I honestly don't think so.

Bálor, especially as Prince Devitt, has a slightly bigger legacy to his name, but I think Adam balances it out by simply outshining Finn in promos (for me, at least). In the ring, it's the same really. Bálor has probably a slight edge over Cole there, but I'm wholeheartedly believe Adam can easily go completely toe-to-toe with Finn, when it comes down to it.

So... it might be a bit silly, but the one thing that makes the deciding difference for me is Bálor having his demon character. I wish WWE wouldn't have fucked it up so badly with that, but it still is that one unique thing that makes Finn simply stand out more.
