Well... I went with my man Dolph.
Brock was a beast and an incredible sight to see in his first run, but also a lot of those high points back then where due to other people. The way he was booked, Paul Heyman as the mouthpiece and opponents like Angle and Guerrero made Brock look so much better, on top of his natural superstar aura. ...and his last run, while it was a spectacular return and great to watch at first, turned (especially in hindsight) very stale, very fast. Plus it didn't help that he was booked in a way that kinda made a lot of workers, who should've been raised on the next level by facing Brock, simply look inferior by quite a margin. Of course, that is probably not on him, but still... doesn't make him look better either in the grand scheme of things.
Dolph/Nic, for me, was always one of the biggest "What ifs". Absolute outstanding worker and seller, who's still underrated and underappreciated as fuck. Also, he easily has Brock's number on the mic and in the character work department as well. I do appreciate the rare funny Brock moments though.
