I went for Vice City too
GTA:III did bring the franchise into the next gen, and it deserves endless credit for doing it, but VIce City improved on it, and added more dynamics such as weapon slots, Motorbikes, Clothing Changing, Motorbikes, Going into buildings, Motorbikes

easily San Andreas, the map is FUCKING HUGE and the storyline is pretty good. Their is just soo much stuff to do and I still play it today.
