What kind of plants are you definitely going to give a try?

Ummm I am thinking carrots, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, and maybe lettuce. I have a lot of different seeds but I am just going to try growing the easier plants this year for my first go.

But water soluble will be easier for you since you're just starting.

Man, I haven't gardened in almost 10 years, this is making me miss it lol

I did grow stuff when I was a kid but it was with the help of my parents so I really didn't have to think about anything. lol I know I am going to have to get soil of some kind since I will be using some form of raised beds.

Online it is $4 which isn't bad but it is out of stock. I don't drive and the closest Walmart to me is like 20 min away lolol Talk about a walk and a half. There is a garden shop right up the road but I know their prices are higher because it is a smaller store.

Time to call a friend then lol... It would definitely be better to pick it up at the store rather than have it shipped, the bags that potting soil is packaged in aren't very durable so the beating it'll take during shipping would definitely bust it open. I recommend calling your WalMart and asking if it's in stock beforehand though. =)

Yeah I will likely have someone pick some up for me. I am considering using milk crates as well... I actually like this idea and I can easily move them around too.
