Yeah, I figured Gamestops have better sales when they are in strips/plazas with places like Wal Mart. We just got that one here maybe 2 years ago. I just think it's funny that Wal Mart now does midnight sales, and tells no one. We didn't even know and we work there. My gf is a CSM (Customer Service Manager) and she didn't know about it til she was about to leave that night.

Gamestop has a big word of mouth. Alot of people shop there. One person knows about the midnight sales, everyone knows about it. Seeing as though only a select few in the store knew about the mid-night sale at Wal Mart, how the hell are the customers going to know about it?

I don't shop at this Game Stop anymore though. I just go there to look around at games that they have and their prices and go to another out of town. I reserved 2 games before and when I went to get them, they sold them. That defeats the purpose of reserving the game. The guy was just like "oh we don't have it. We sold it." No apology, no condolence, no nothing. Just a we don't have it. I didn't even want the game anymore. When you pay for an reservation, you expect to get it. The 1st time it happened I understood because the store was new, new employees, shit happens. After the 2nd time it happened, I was done with them.

I used to work at Wal-Mart so I know what a CSM is :) but yeah, if your not going to advertise it somehow since you don't do pre-orders theres no chance to survive a midnight launch. IMO if Wal-Mart wants to do better on there video game sales they need to start doing pre-sells. But whatever.

As for your experince, I'll admit I've seen that happen at other locations as well. I can tell you id does not happen in my store though. So managers/staff just don't care. But I think you get that everywhere you go not just Gamestop. You'll always have that one location that just doesn't care at all.

GoW3 is an excellent game. There is a lot more blood in this one than the first two. The fight against
Hercules
is pretty damn cool, probably my favorite boss battle so far. His death is great,
you keep punching him with his own weapons until his head turns to jelly.
I love the fact that Kratos can literally fight an army in this one, you can have a lot more enemies onscreen compared to the first two.

I think its more like feel the power of your fucking head being ripped off and used as my weapon. Go to the view weapon option on the upgrade power screen & look at Helios' head. Spin it around to watch the dangling veins & arteries wiggle.

So GOWIII is epic. Just beat it. It's a close one between this and Uncharted 2. Challenge Mode is fucking lame though.

GOWIII has sealed it's Game of The Year Award but is it the best PS3 Exclusive? It might be.
