GFW Update

Global Force Wrestling released a video this morning announcing that tickets for the first TV taping on Friday 7/24 in Las Vegas at the New Orleans Hotel would go on sale this Friday. It is also revealed in the announcement that Global Force Wrestling will crown four new champions at the taping:

Look like Jarrett is looking Long term.

I don't think they have a channel, know they Chael on commentary and Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows....not sure who else tbh.

They also have former TNA stars Lance Hoyt, Rosita and Lei'D Tapa to go along with former WWE stars Chris Masters, Justin Gabriel and DH Smith

They would be best served on a streaming platform because there really no channel they fit. They also can't use the old ppv weekly model they used to or pay fsn for use. I say go the way they did between fsn and spike with real media to showcase them.

They also don't have enough good male talent to have three divisions. They should go the cheap yet smart route, overload on females to have a male and female single and tag division. No need for a midcard male division

Global Force shouldn't just post episodes on their website because there won't be a viable revenue stream from doing so. They need to make money or it will be a slow rise and quick death.

They should see if they can get a distribution deal through FullScreen Entertainment or even direct to Youtube and get something from it.

Could just try cut a deal with Netflix or Hulu and put all their tapings on there until they get a TV slot.

Still think WWE could really corner the wrestling market if they provided other smaller companies like GFW/ROH/Dragon Gate as a iPPV provider. Would expose the entire business more and collect a nominal fee by being providers as well as an easier way to scout potential talent.

I could see Vince buying GFW just to make Jarrett unemployed again.

Why not try a weekly PPV internet program like the early days of TNA but on the internet? If promoted right through social media it would probably do decently well.
