The only thing a PPV streak means is let's kill any momentum our top babyface has so the heel doesn't lose on PPV.

Even after Charlotte loses at Mania, she'll still win back the title in a matter of weeks. Rinse and repeat.

If the streak was all they cared about then Charlotte never should have lost the belt in the first place. Charlotte winning because of a streak only makes sense if she's retaining the belt. It's not placating to actually let an over Superstar have a turn with the ball. Charlotte constantly being giving back the belt is placating her more than anything. Never should have had Sasha win in those Raw matches and we would have been fine. Then Sasha could have beaten her PPV streak at Mania or whatever and that would have been fine. Now we have 7 title reigns between two people in 8 months. That helped no one. Sasha Banks can't even come back to end the streak now because of a no rematch clause.

I thought their best matches happened on Raw anyways and Sasha won those. It's not like Sasha isn't still over and doesn't still have a strong fanbase. Raw should have at least two sustainable women's feuds on their 3 hour show every week as it is and Charlotte is just a perfect championship figure. Sasha can help the rest of the division away from the belt and return to it around Mania.

I said it was helping no one. However, Charlotte still has a 186 days before the first lose and like another 196 days I think with the Divas Title that was basically one run.

No you schmuck. Charlotte already had a long ass reign with the belt. She never looked bad based on that principle. Sasha lost her first ever title defense and continued to do so.
