Been watching all of the old TakeOvers on the Network and am currently on TakeOver: London. Epic stuff. Never really got into NXT back then but now I know what I was missing.
Definitely one of the big disappointments for me about losing touch with wrestling mainly from 2013-2017 is not seeing the rise of NXT or the early parts of the Women's Revolution. Also regret missing shit like Lesnar/Goldberg, the Heist of the Century and the WWE debuts of AJ Styles and Sting live. Also regret missing out on the insane rise of NJPW and all the insane matches that Styles, Okada, Naito, Omega, Tanahahi, Nakamura, etc. were having during that stretch. Also regret missing the early days of the second brand split in 2016, which seemed fun af.
Absolutely! May go back and watch the weekly episodes at some point in the future as wellI would say enjoy them as they were very special times but it seems like you already are
I saw this the night of on Twitter even tho I wasn't watching and I remember showing my friend who watched wrestling when he was younger thinking he'd know AJ even if he didn't watch much TNA but it turns out TNA wasn't even broadcast in his country so he had 0 clueAJ’s debut is one of my favorite moments from the last 10 years. We marked tf out
