Didn't think it was weird he never talks? I think he's done it like once since he joined.

To be honest not really. He's part of a stable and I thought he was one of these green kids that maybe just was not good at talking.

During an appearance on Unlikely with Adrian Hernandez, Williams was asked about that experience and what it’s been like getting to spend time with Punk at the Performance Center. Williams confirmed that Punk has been a mentor to him. He called Punk a “positive light” for everyone in NXT.

“Mentor is a perfect way to put it, man. He has been a blessing for all of us who would take the time to actually go talk to him and reach out to him,” Williams said. “He’s helped me with a few things that I feel like, if the crowd knew about it, they would be very grateful that he did. I’m just going to leave it there. Shoutout to CM Punk, man. He’s been a positive light for all of us here in NXT.”
