Yea, but only because they never released that cable that was supposed to make it possible to hook up 8 Virtual Boys at once for Multiplayer madness... because, you know, it was a complete failure of a console.

I went to the national video game museum in Frisco, Texas yesterday. It was pretty cool, had a lot of playable things and physical versions of like every console ever, even a Virtual Boy you could play a Wario game on. The wall of historical controllers especially was super nostalgic for me. They even had semi-usable versions of 70s and 80s computers, I tried playing Oregon trail on a glitchy Apple II lol it ended with an arcade room with all the hits. We played some Galaga, Pac-Man, Donkey Kong and Frogger. Gift shop kinda sucked, only complaint. I thought they'd have cooler stuff but oh well, didn't spend anymkre money

The aviation museum near me does a retro gaming con every year. It's fun ass shit they put all consoles throughout the museum, including inside cockpits and shit like that. really fun. It's the only time I've seen a Virtual Boy since they had it at Toys R Us when it came out. Nintendo was way ahead of its time with that. VR gaming got huge like 20 years after Virtual Boy.

connecting 8 Virtual Boys for multiplayer would indicate they sold 8 Virtual Boys, yet alone 8 in close enough proximity to connect them via a cord.

Now Nintendo scales it back a bit and whatever they do everyone else tries to copy it only a few years later instead of 15 years later.

There were always manufacturers, who try to piggyback of the (possibly revolutionary) ideas of other companies. Case in point: Tiger Electronics' R-Zone came out the same year as the Virtual Boy.

I had the first Nintendo as a kid with Duck Hunt Built-in which was shit when layed with a controller or as they were called here a Joy Pad . Anyone else here the Monika for the Nintendo Controller referred to a Joy Pad back in the day ?

Been sinking a lot of time into Oblivion. Played about 15 hours on Xbox as basically a knight that dabbled in magic and while fun I got a bit bored of the fighting so I decided to switch it up to a sneak build and also got it on Steam.

the beginning was hard but once I got my illusion to 50 I was able to buy a invisibility spell which has made it much easier. I also did the Nocturnal shrine quest at level 10 which gives me the skeleton key(a lockpick that never breaks) so I feel like I SHOULD be set for most of the game.

Here I am after closing an oblivion gate, oh yeah I'm also a lizard that can breath underwater.

Started up the new Doom today and I have to say...im loving it so far. Of course I have it on easy mode cause im a noob at games like that but yeah lol.
