My mom also had a short abusive relationship after my birth dad that I didn't comprehend until I was much older

like for context, all I can really remember was the cops being called to our house a couple times and screaming. I was like 5 and the guy also had a kid around my age so we had to deal with that together just about every weekend for maybe 6 months but idk how long really since I was so young
