nah you should be able to hit escape and then quit game and then it goes to the main menu and then you exit to desktop there.

Nope, I couldn't earlier... tbf, I didn't start an actual game, so maybe that was the problem

also @Looch Hendry make sure to get the free '98 skins from the original game. always fine to play the game in crazy good high def resolution with polygonal skins
