I'd rather smaller companies minimize costs and work slowly, rather than splurge their entire budget just trying to get on prime time, when it's no guarantee you're actually gonna have a bigger audience.

I can almost confidently say that putting a show on at 1 PM would definitely lead to a smaller audience. Unless your channel just sucks like AXS. I actually do think TNA could do an afternoon show and it would matter. But wrestling companies don’t want that perception of being too poor for a good time slot.

I didn’t say the fans were necessarily gonna care. I’m saying the company doesn’t wants to have the perception that it’s not a big enough deal to watch. Like we’re just gonna have to agree to disagree on this one but I think considering the fact that the wrestling companies aren’t attempting your approach. I think I’m right on this one.

On demand is a great thing for wrestling fans but if the TV show isn’t watched when it airs, then it’s gonna get dropped from the TV channel.

On a Saturday? Maybe if you're a wage slave like me, that might be a problem, but that's pretty negligible.

I do think the Netflix deal though could be a game changer. It’ll be interesting to see how many people just watch raw on replay since people are used to not watching things live on Netflix.

me too. Going live is kinda what they need but it’ll be a finical disaster if people don’t watch and I don’t think AXS is the channel for this experiment.

i do think like at least half or more north american watchers arent showing up on tv numbers cuz they watching either through other means or watch later
